Final Update to the 32 Bit Demo Disc #1!

This is going to be the "final" update to Demo Disc #1. The next Demo Disc will be up during the "32Bit Spring Cleaning Jam". I have some really cool ideas for DD2.

But anyways, here are my notes since the last build:

1-10-25:

I just realized we can link directly to any WebGL game. This will make the Demo Disc -> Gameplay transition more seamless. Too bad I don't have embed codes for each game!

This will streamline launching games from Demo Disc app!

1-13-25

Added "platform badges" to each entry.
Updated the background for game selection.
Updated the buttons.
Added LAYER CAKE to game selection.
Added music from Uncroaked.
New main-menu BG.
Added new music from Jaden Eubanks and updated the credits

1-14-25

Fixed scaling issue with the radio.
Added new colors to the radio.

Changed the playlist order.

1-15-25

One “last” change to the title screen.

Added one final track from Headphone Headache.
Added intro transition to radio.
Added a "disc delay" to account for the fake demo disc reading the audio files.
Added SFX for the "disc reader".
Made the BG grid respond to the audio.
Added dedicated back button to the choose game screen.
I was fully committed to launching the app at this point but I had a thought:
What if that embed code I need is in the HTML source for some reason?
The URL looks like this:
https://itch.io/embed-upload/7798206?color=333333
The game this links to is at:
https://asfunasfun.itch.io/1-hour-game
When I searched the source for the embed code, I found this instance of 7798206:
https://html-classic.itch.zone/html/7798206/Builds/index.html
Huge! Now I can search this string and build the embedded URL myself for any of the subs!
Yup, sure enough, I was able to scrape the embed codes from each of the WebGL submissions!
Added Instant Play button. This allows you to play without downloading (using webgl)
Sorted games so Instant Play games are first.
That is it for now! Cheers!
